Elmer- I will say I am under nondisclosure with Intel.

Wow, what a paranoid company. They even have their garbage men under NDA.

All kidding aside, I just don't think Intel would pull in the 3 Ghz release, and talk about it publicly some 9 months in advance, unless they were feeling some pressure from AMD. Also, we have no details on this thing, it may be a specially-selected low volume part that dissipates 125 W each. We'll see...

Intel does seem to be making a smooth transition to .13 fabrication. Intel is charging ahead with their .13 P4 mobile, which has to be a strong indicator of successful .13 manufacturing. Since this is a lame product, it would be easy to delay to satisfy any .13 production problems elsewhere.
