Me thinks the $100 transcriber missed some words, even half sentences, or did not group the answers
under the common issue of EDGE and 3G, which obviously is the task of the editor.

Anyway, ducks, like hens, have difficulties with more than three factors at the same time, and
who wouldn't, if one wouldn't concentrate.

Freud is supposed to say it has to do with the problem of understanding there are two breasts,
not just one. (the matter of three is much more difficult)

NOK click to change color web site. NOK's funky new color screen phone.

"This tri-band
world phone chooses the best GSM
network automatically in three networks
(GSM 900 /1800/1900) and gives you
coverage on five continents.""

To bad there are no "good" GSM networks. Yesterday's fish dinner warmed over twice. However, talk is still
the most common use for a phone -- sooo we jet setters just have to own one of these. I bet these will sell --
not to me--I am sure they did focus groups before developing such a strikingly different design----I must be out
of touch

The speaker was Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo (CFO), and he did not misspeak, nor did he intend, IMO, to signal the fact that EDGE wasn't likely to be seen in Europe.

What he said in understated terms was entirely consistent with what Nokia has stated right along.

Perhaps I am reaching....or maybe the fact that English isnt that guys native language means I am trying to read to much into the statement.

Nevertheless, when I reread the statement again it still seemed like a departure of past references to EDGE and Europe. Normally, they mention something about working with operators or the fact that EDGE provides a more efficient use of bandwidth.

Thinking it over, I may be reaching....I dont think that a mid-quarter update would be the most likely place for them to try and reduce expectations for EDGE.
