as our country becomes more and more Balkanized, I am fairly certain we will have our share of internal warfare within 50 years or so.... I hope we can find a way to resolve this without warfare. The problem, as I see it, is that the generally liberal thinkers who cherish multiculturalism and pluralism are also usually anti-war, but they don't see that multiculturalism is a precursor to civil war. Inclusion into a single society is the best assurance of a stable society. But I'm afraid we're not learning from the lesson of Canada, but following in their footsteps, to the same ultimate end of violence and break-up.
