The Saudi peace proposal probably is a peace both Israel and Palestine could live with if the rest of the Arab nations would go along. Right now is the time to give the supporters of Hamas and PLO an ultimatum, a deal they can't refuse. Go along with the Saudi peace plan, and live with it or face the same consequences Afghanistan did.

That's pretty strong; but I must say, this problem is as close to insoluable as any I've ever seen.

I see the Israel/Palestine dilemma as separate from the issue of the terrorist attacks on Israel. I don't know who is right or wrong with respect to the ongoing land & cultural dispute; but I do know, with certainty, that the PA's support of terrorist attacks is wrong and should be treated in the most harsh manner conceivable.

Hmaly, <Go along with the Saudi peace plan, and live with it or face the same consequences Afghanistan did>

I'd say that's a better solution than any of the alternatives out there.
