Agreed, and the NDX looks like its in a clean expanded correction off the gap low. VIX dropped to new lows today. LOL! This could be punishing.

I only wish I had waited 3 more days for my puts but the Aprils should be fine. I am planning on playing some March Q poots for fun.

Allan -- on the XMI. . .

I notice that the 50 DMA crossed the 200 DMA today (by a hair). The EMAs crossed a few days back. (The Dow simple moving averages look like they'll cross tomorrow, as they're 2 points apart). Does this impact your thinking in either the short term or the intermediate term?

Also, the XMI is within a whisker of a double top here over the past couple days. Not a huge time frame, I realize, but are you expecting the end of the ED to move much beyond the old high? I'm bad at reading EDs, but it seems to me this should be the 5 up right now, or am I miscounting and we'd be in the 3 up not the 5 (if, of course, this even is an ED)?

Lots of FA says we should keep bearish counts alive, but the market internals are certainly much improved. Maybe this is just gonna be a pullback to be bought? I dunno, and I know no one knows conclusively. Too bad. They'd get rich <g>
