Knip,

It is extremely stable and has all of the functions of Word and Excel(I believe). There is a slight learning curve since the look is different than MS Office. Also, I have not yet learned the Star version of MS Access; I ma not sure if you can create a new database in the same way that you can create an Excel spreadsheet.

I have not used it much, but when I did the differences were minimal. I used to laugh at the product when friends brought it up; now I am a strong proponent of using it.
