Many social conservative do have that "liberal outlook" you have talked about in other posts here. Couldn't agree more with all that you said, Earnest. I thought I had covered the question when I directed my observations at "social conservatives as a group." Individuals of any persuasion can, of course, be lovely people. perhaps you are reacting to some of the more public and extreme social conservatives when you feel a dislike for them. I'm glad to see that you recognize what it is that I find so unattractive. The face of social conservatism is not at all pretty. Karen
