Nukes are much larger than what you incorrectly call "super bombs".

"As far as nuke go IF we have to use them as opposed to the super bombs we now possess I find it calming..."

Worse, they have geopolitical consequences that could end the USA as we know it.

It is possible, regardless of our vaunted superpower status, to be rendered non-grata by the rest of the world, to be fought in ways we cannot cope with by billions of otherwise reasonable people who fear a nuclear power gone nuts.

Or, are you of the considered opinion that the US is so powerful that it does not matter if we do things that the rest of the world considers unecessary and universally heinous?

Are you comfortable with the idea of being at odds with all other countries including Europe, Russia, China etc ?

It sounds like you are being randomly brainwashed.
