This is what I posted in February........I am amazed that Russo made that forecast back then. I am now even more amazed that she claims the order was flowing in until two weeks ago and then stopped on a dime. Usually in telco business, it takes anywhere from 3 months to 12 months of proposal, spec review, approval process, contract negotiation, .....seems to me the way Russo is describing the forecasting process is like forecasting grocery sales.

Not too impressive...this Russo person.

How can Pat Russo claim that LU will show sequential revenue growth when there are compelling signs EVERYWHERE that there will be continuing ratcheting down of CAPEX by the indebted Carriers?
Ciena reported very bad visibility. NT has reported no recovery.....Wcom, WCG, LVLT, COLT, GX, Energis, etc.etc. are all literally dying and trying to conserve cash at all costs.

Is Russo out of her mind?

And on top of that LU doesn't even have the best-of-breed platforms.....oh well, i guess talk is cheap and we will see but i highly doubt that LU will take market share away.
