Chuckle. Cute!

I was recently asked here about my impression of Sepracor, or Sepracor came up in some context. I said that I didn't follow it.

I want to emphasize, however, that I saw the company as a timely investment and that it was a 2% component of "2000", a portfolio that I maintain here at SI. Everything looked on track to me, and I should have said that I don't follow it closely. Assessment of the company here at SI looked to be top notch to me.

The third applicant stepped forward and said, "I was an HMO manager. I helped people get cost-effective health care."

St.Peter said, "You can come in too."

As the HMO manager walked by, St. Peter added, "You can only stay two days. After that, you can go to Hell."

I think I have a revised version:

The third applicant stepped forward and said, "I was an FDA regulator. I helped protect the public against dangerous and ineffective drugs."

St.Peter laughed and laughed and laughed. "Maybe you did good work, but considering how much fun you had torturing biotech investors, I think you'd be a much better fit down in hell. You can always resubmit your application after a few hundred years of additional trials, though."
