Picked a lot of oranges lately Craig? ....Have any friends that would prefer to stay on the unemployment dole rather than stoop to some form of labor "beneath them"?.... Ever stop to be thankful for how cheap and plentiful the food supply is in this country?.....Ever have a school system fail to report student truancy due to getting funds based on attendance records?...Ever see a 14 year old that did not know how many quarters were in a dollar and still passing in her wonderful school district?..... Ever live under a tarp spread over the limbs of a big tree and was thankful if you found enough food to make one meal a day? Ever known what mind set it would take to get on a 40 year old sailboat built for 3 with many other people and little supplies with the faint hopes you might be able to find Florida's shore over a 1000 miles of sea... I am not for illegal immigration and never have been ....but i am far from fool enough not to understand that people will always try to get into this country because of hopes of a better life....i know i was lucky being born here ....do you?
