THREAD POLL:

<cut and paste your pick below>

If you were required to board a spaceship for a lifelong journey starting tomorrow and you could only take one book and one CD with you, what would you take?
<inspired by a school assignment my daughter brought home last night, asking about the one book you would take>

OMD:

Book: Complete Works of William Shakespeare
CD: Bob Dylan, Time Out of Mind <found it almost impossible to choose>

Gloop:

Book: Complete Works of Hustler
CD: Beatles White album

your choice of CD speaks for itself as to why you would choose it...

required to board a spaceship for a lifelong journey

many people have found "the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galazy" is the ideal reference book for exploring space.

Mozart might be nice.
