The funny thing is, the Washington Post recently brought back Jim "Dow 36,000" Glassman for an encore:

The P/E's Important, but It Isn't Everything

I think his big argument was that PEs would go to 50-100 once investors realized that stocks and bonds had equivalent risk. Well, we're there - at Dow 10,000. -bg-
