Kdavy,

Thank you. I am building a longterm position in Cree as I am confident that its best years are ahead. Hence I view its current weakness as an opportunity.

Your AMAT strategy sounds reasonable to me as long as it fits in with your overall goals. With the options you can calculate in advance your exact profit and loss potential depending on AMAT's closing price on the third Friday in April. The worst that can happen is that you have bought 2000 shares at a somewhat discounted price. I have sold covered calls and sold naked puts, but have never done so simultaneously in combination.

My Urdu needs alot of practice. I know just how much when I listen to Lata Mangeshkar. Kerala IS gorgeous. In 1970 I traveled between Cochin and Trivandrum partially by backwater canoe and shall never forget those lush green rice paddies and coconut palms by the shoreline. A bit further north, Coorg is quite interesting, and if you like ancient temples, the Meenakshi Temple at Madurai, a couple of hundred miles east of Cochin, is outstanding.

I pretty much travelled down the western coast starting from Bombay to Goa and on down to Kannyakumari and Sri Lanka; then up to Pondicherry and Madras via Madurai, followed by Puri, Konarak, Calcutta and Darjeeling, inter alia. An unforgettable trip!

I love North India also, especially the foothills of the Himalaya. I cannot wait to go back!
