Is SBC dumping ADSL gear in Canada? Bell Canada is owned by BCE Inc of Montreal (80 percent) and by SBC Communications Inc. of San Antonio, Texas (20 percent). "Because of the regulatory environment, a decision was made to halt Project Pronto build-out." gurnee.il.us Now that SBC is halting ADSL deployment in the US, it is diverting part of the stuff to Canada?

Alcatel and Sun to Jointly Market Intelligent Network Systems; Telecommunication Service Providers Can Offer Comprehensive Enhanced Voice and Data Applications DALLAS, TEXAS--MARCH 19, 2002 - 15:05 EST Industry leaders Alcatel and Sun Microsystems announced a Joint Marketing Agreement (JMA) to promote carrier-class, open- architecture voice and data Intelligent Networking (IN) solutions for telecommunication service providers in the U.S. market.
