Carly couldn't line up the Mutual Funds before the merger announcement. That would be sharing insider information with a few large investors.

She could have and should have made sure Wally was firmly in the pro merger camp. She didn't do it. The results has been a huge waste of HP stock holders money on a proxy fight.

I would prefer that HWP stock holders foot the proxy bill without CPQ holders sharing the cost.
