Perhaps the issue deserves a closer look. You have to be suspicious when a bill seems destined to sail through quickly with little fanfare.

The expedient here is not federal power, it's states letting people pull a Deliverance scene on private property because some shyster spends the trial pushing class warfare to them. It is part of the legitimate function of government to ensure that Plaintiff's Bar bandits can't use the coercive power of the state to steal property by manipulating the ignorant mob...
