High yield is alive and well in America, thank you very much.

What about profits? Did it occur to you that higher rates and bigger spreads make decent ROI's impossible to achieve? Where's the pricing power?

Growth without profits = high volume losses; it just means the companies disappear a little slower or faster depending on how much unprofitable business they do. Every bubble is marked by capital chasing the latest thing - eventually it just dries up and all your left with is a high cost structure and no way to pay the bills...

One other note on Sprint - did you notice that the vast majority of those funds were going to pay down other debt - not exactly bullish. As far as I know, they are still locked out of the commercial paper market. Not bullish that...
