Dammed if I know. I saw a couple of days ago a PR from Gartner that ASPT was evaluated to be leader. PR article below. That helps however, I believe ASPT has had leadership products for some time. I cannot understand then why it doesn't sell better. Is it just the economy? I do know that CRM has a lot of competitors and an industry shakeout will surely be coming. When there is so many selling into a market, especially in this economic climate, selling costs must be sky high.

A few months ago I bought some SEBL at 19, saw it drop to 14 then rise into the low 30's. I got out at 30 and am now sitting on the side lines again in this sector.

Good Luck

Aspect Communications Listed as a Leader in Research Firm's EMEA Contact Center Magic Quadrant
Aspect's Support of Both Preservation and Replacement Strategies With Its Contact Server Platform, Call Center and Visionary IP Contact Suite Positions Aspect in Leader Quadrant
SAN JOSE, Calif., March 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Aspect Communications Corporation (Nasdaq: ASPT - news), the leading provider of business communications solutions that help companies improve customer satisfaction, reduce operating costs, gather market intelligence and increase revenue, today announced that Gartner Inc. listed Aspect® in the leader quadrant for contact center infrastructure in its February report titled, ``EMEA Contact Center Infrastructure Magic Quadrant 2002.'' Gartner defines ``leaders'' as those who are performing well today, have clear visions of market direction and are actively building competencies to sustain their leadership positions in the market. Gartner evaluated each vendor on a number of criteria including market strength, financial viability, IVR, CTI, universal queue and Internet contact support, workforce management capabilities, customer relationship management and application integration, and the ability to integrate with third-party components.

The EMEA Contact Center Infrastructure Magic Quadrant assesses vendors and places them in one of four quadrants: leader, challenger, visionary or niche player, based on their visions and abilities to execute those visions. Gartner's research directors, Steve Blood and Bern Elliot, and principal analyst Terry Wright prepared the report, which is available for purchase at gartner.com .

Aspect's roadmap for customers lets them leverage existing investments in telephony, back-office and front-office technology while adding additional communication channels and VoIP to their contact centers at the pace appropriate for the business. Aspect offers ``hybrid'' VoIP solutions that can be used to expand existing centers. Aspect also offers a complete VoIP contact center, the Aspect IP Contact Suite, which is a software solution based on a multimedia softswitch architecture that allows applications such as VoIP conferencing and IP IVR to be deployed rapidly without software programming.
