Ali, if Intel really wanted to imitate AMD's "QuantiSpeed" scheme, they would have rated the 2.0 GHz Northwood as a "2200+", and the 2.2 GHz Northwood as a "2400+" part.

Besides, the "2.0A" designation is nothing new. Intel did the same thing with the Celeron 300A, the processor that made Jerry Sanders have kittens. ;-)
