Is it just me, or does it seem strange to anyone else that AMD's new desktop chip is priced higher than either their mobile or server proliferations? Any thoughts?

Yes, how would you price something that is nearly impossible to make and in very short supply?

The list prices for desktop products don't really correspond to anything. The processor is selling on PriceWatch for about $300: pricewatch.com
