that is a loaded question :-))
Could it be possible that transition to .13um soi does not allow for 100% utilization? Remember that unlike Intel, amd can not afford to do a fab at a time.
The other thing is that I do not believe that 50/50 ratio holds anymore and athlon is larger than duron.
Either way, I think my point would be just as valid with 10% of the market
