Point No. 1. The information isn't secret, or else the Repugs wouldn't be able to discuss it with the general public. Correct?

Now let's move on to Point 2. If said information is not secret, then it's public information.

Now let's move on to Point 3: What the Repugs in Congress are doing is selling public information only to those who are willing to fork over $250.

It comes as no surprise to me that you would find nothing wrong with this insidious practice.
