albert, Re: "AMD Athlon ™ MP processor with AMD Smart MP technology", "AMD Athlon XP processor with QuantiSpeed™ architecture", "Mobile AMD Athlon 4 processor with AMD PowerNow!™ technology"

I'm impressed. AMD is finally learning from Intel on how to market. These keywords have about as much relevance as "Netburst", "Enhanced SpeedStep", or "Streaming SIMD Extensions", yet both the media and the consumer will love it.

Also, AMD has made significant headway since last year in terms of market share, according to the graph on page 4. I will be interesting to see whether they can hold it, given a more competitive Northwood processor. While Northwood fails to outperform the Athlon by much, you have to admit that it's a lot better than the Willamette was last year, which is the reason why, I think, that Intel lost so much market share so fast.

Albert, title of AMD's presentation is "Competition is Good". I think AMD shareholders would much prefer "Profits is Good".
