Siebel Director Charles Schwab Files To Sell 400,000 Shares

WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- Siebel Systems (NasdaqNM: SEBL - news) Inc. (SEBL) director Charles R. Schwab filed to sell 400,000 shares of the company's common stock, according to a Form 144 released Wednesday by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Schwab listed Feb. 20 as the approximate date of sale for the shares, which he valued at over $12 million.

The filing listed Charles Schwab & Co . as the broker for the sales.

Charles Schwab is the founder, chairman and CEO of Charles Schwab Corp. (SCH).

Siebel Systems , San Mateo, Calif. , provides e-business application software.

Shares of the company closed Wednesday at $34.93.

A Form 144 indicates an intention to sell restricted stock, but it isn't a commitment to do so.
