Art Hogan(Jefferies)..........Market Outlook Semiconductors are under pressure Definitely a debate going on here Semiconductors have had quite a move off the lows Sector does very well in early cycle of a recovery historically .SOXX broke out of 500-550 range Started a new range with support at 600-630 Truth is that demand has picked up, inventories have been worked off and production capacity has worked down The sector is in a sweet spot INTC owns 85% of the space and that is why they pick it They have real exciting products INTC builds price cuts into their model so that is not a concern for him They always cut the price after 3-6 months Tends to disagree that the recovery can only be shallow Picks INTC ASCA KSS
