Witch hunting? I haven't introduced one thing (that I remember) to the present discussion yet concerning what the demo's did or didn't do in the past. I am pointing out that both parties use fund raisers, and this is no different. IMO all fund raisers are just a way to let shallow people pay money to a party to enable them to go around later doing the thumbs under the armpit dance, bragging about how important they are, to other shallow people. the white house thing was brought up not by me, but by the other party. I was asked to agree or disagree with them being equal, I disagreed. if bush starts renting out the white house limo to high school kids to get laid in after the proms, then I will be critical of him too, that would be kind of equal to what the clintons did with renting out the rooms.
