KADISHA. Question is, when did he exercise the options to acquire this stock. I imagine that options were exercised at a
higher price in calendar 2001 thus making him liable come April 15 for taxes (ordinary rate of 39.6% + CA taxes) on
income of maybe $65/share. So, the poor man was scared shitless that, by the time the QCOM stock finished its fall, he
couldn't sell it for enough to pay his taxes. This sad story happened to many others when tech stock prices crashed.
