lots of volume on a down day for lu.

telecom bottom was hit today. a clear, loud bell. t, fon, wcom, lu, nt, jdsu, csco will go up fivefold in 18 months.

btw- arafat, saddam hussein, many other dictators will be gone in 18 months.

I really don't much care. I usually won't buy something like that until AFTER they get re-organized in Chapter 11. For example, looking at Carmike right now; just came out of bankruptcy (after about 15 months) in late January. That said, IF you had bought Carmike stock when they were bankrupt, and were willing to hold an illiquid security for over a year, you ended up making a 3-4x return with the new shares that you were issued. But its so hard to know how the new capitalization will get divvied up among various parties, I personally don't get involved in stuff like that.
