The article clearly states that MIR is sought out for investment ...

Yes, but do you have any information indicating that MIR plans to invest? I'm "sought out for investment" by Merrill Lynch, but I have never seriously considered giving them any of my money.

Investment without regard toward the consequence to the local population or the environment is called "rape & pillage" by sane and sensible people.

Political, social and environmental factors are all reasonable and proper considerations in evaluating what is a "good investment" and I'm confident that MIR considers all of them. Are you accusing MIR of "rape & pillage?" On what basis?

It is not just me. There are millions of us ...

Great, but how does the PRC choosing to "rape & pillage" make MIR "slimy?"

For Mirant to be even considering involving itself in such a project indicates a complete lapse of moral and ethical judgement on the part of Mirant's so-called management.

Do you know what "begging the question" means?

Just what is your agenda here? Political ranting at anyone who will listen or baseless bashing of Mirant?
