Computer Associates to Offer $500 Million in Convertible Notes

Boston, Mar 13, 2002 (MidnightTrader via COMTEX) -- Computer Associates (CA) today announced that it intends, subject to market and other conditions, to sell approximately $500 million principal amount of Convertible Senior Notes due 2007 through a private offering to qualified institutional buyers under Rule 144A and offshore under Regulation S.
CA stated that it expects the terms of the offering to include an option for up to an additional $100 million principal amount of notes, depending on the ultimate size of the offering. Stock is down on REDIBook.
