I think it is PG&E that has some geothermal wells out in CA. desert. We logged them when I was Operations Manager in Bakersfield in the early 90's. Hot damn wells, 500 degress F!!

My husband retired from Columbia Gas and was very involved with mergers, aquisitions, JVs. He LOVES alternative energy including geothermal, solar, wind, fuel cells - the whole group.

Tempting to try and sneak "burning worthless stock certificates" to that list - currently my best source of plentiful cheap fuel and definitely not GREEN!
