I Guess The Folks Who Miss the 30 Year Bond

Looking at charts of the yield for the 5 and the 10 its easy to understand why the Fed decided to deep six the thirty. (TNX and FVX both closed at the high for the year today)

Can you imagine where they would be if this weeks data had actually come in as expected.

The Fed "only" provided the morning fix on 2 of the last 5 days. I can't recall the last time they showed so much constraint.

I wonder if they are starting to realize they have a bit of a problem. <gg>

I don't understand why AG said they were not going to issue the 30's because they were more expensive, IMelt said they were cheaper. This high finance can get very confusing. <gg>
