i read quite a bit from SH Larry and I remember quite a few companies he was a fan of in late 90s the went under including ATHM, B2Bs and networkers. One quote from the CNET TV show about inets loosing money was(paraphase) "the metrics from valuating .coms is different. the protential technologies give internet companies more value than mature tech stocks"

that was when everything was going due north. didn't hear any concerns when YHOO and AMZN and DSLN were way over $200
