just post list of your favorite movies to watch during a life threatening illness. Great concept. I will look forward to reading others. Mine would be of three groups First, comedies. Special favorites: A Thousand Clowns, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Sister Act, and all the Gilbert and Sullivan operettas (and the one opera) except Cox and Box, which is IMO a waste of time. Second, period dramas. Special favorites: any of the good Austen films, Beckett, Lion in Winter, A Man for All Seasons Third, Shakespeare.
