Bluetooth is a flop, and Nokia giving up its Flashcard biz to the tiny tiny tiny company this SCKT is more evidence of Bluetooth's failure than SCKT's success.

Bluetooth failed for good reasons -- its range is limited, and it just doesn't work very well (too often Bluetooth enabled products don't talk to each other at all, or only with configuring and fussing). More importantly, at lot of its applications sound sexy to technologists, but just don't matter must to the rest of us. It's like the 3G dream of cell phones with real web access and receiving streaming movies -- the movie part sounds silly, and the web access needs to be much cheaper and better for anyone to care. Some of us welcome the few seconds of our life where we *don't* have web access.

Possibly a retooled bluetooth -- a better standard, so bluetooth products can really reliably talk to each other --will be more successful. The tech world often needs a few tries to get it right (such as USB2 which is competing with the much better firewire).

But more likely Bluetooth's time has come and gone, and SCKT will need a new buzzword to hype itself.
