<<clearly a lot of good news was discounted.>> Well, I agree. However, look at it from another perspective. In the past couple days we've had a slew of sector wide downgrades in the tech world. And yet, the naz is still holding the breakout from its down channel (heck, it's not even close). Non-tech is holding on, too, even if the BKX is flashing a warning signal. Perhaps it's now just digesting its gains and shrugging off more bad news? I don't honestly know. I can't get excited about much in either direction here. If the Commitment of Traders report monitored me, they'd see no commitment whatsoever <g>. Still, I think it's key to remember that none of us look at the market unbiasedly, even though we all try. the freep
