Brother Bum, keep in mind my 1850 projection was a short term projection. The chart indicated there would be strong support at the 1850 range. The NASDAQ got down to 1851 today and it struggled to the upside, then down again, but closing above the 1850 mark. We did see that support come into play and I missed it by a point.

The analysis I provided was based on what was known at that time. The economy was improving, the job numbers were improving and the bulls were eager to push the market higher.

We may get some news tomorrow to conflict with that analysis. It's always important to be aware of the condition of the market. If the news tomorrow is bullish, I may add some very short term positions.

Before you know it, pre-announcement season will be upon us again and the analysts are taking the numbers down now, in advance. This is an indication that profits are being elusive.

My objective is to focus on the reaction to the upcoming news and play the market in the direction in which it chooses to go. Long or short, it makes no difference to me.

I still think this is an opportunity to establish some smaller positions in companies you don't mind holding a couple of years. Hence my holdings in RAD, PVN and KM.
