Dear Terrance:If you may excuse my rudeness for responding to a post not addressed to me. I shoot straight. Let me please respond to your post.

Old Testament; i.e kill the witches, slew thousands ten thousands etc...~~~

For a 500 year old testament history between Joshua and Saul God allowed Israel to be brought down to slavery 7 times. It wasnt always that David and Saul were slaying their thousands and ten thousands. Just as often it was the Babylonians , Maobites, Philistines, Caanites,Midianites and Ammonites that were slaying their thousands and ten thousands.

The years of servitude totaled 20, 40, 18, 18, 7, 8, or 111 years of servitude out of a 500 year history One servitude to the Philistia is not documented for time so I'll assume that one was zero.

Each time the nation Israel was brought down it was for the same reason, sin. But prophetically the nation Israel is the modern day church. If there is a reason that God allows a nation to be brought down for judgement it is a manifestation upon a nation for the following reason. SIN Is it a judgement against the sinners of this nation that do not know God or believe in Christ as their Lord and Savoir??????? Is it the lost souls that bring judgement against a nation.????? THEY HAVE IT BACKWARDS !!!!!!!!!!

Emphatically I say NO. It is the sin of Gods OWN that bring judgement upon a nation. We the church. We the righteous people. We the Holy people. We the pure people ....bring judgement against the nation. The Christians that "BELIEVE" think that those "SINNERS" bring the judgement upon this nation. They think the lost masses of lustful, drug crazed, homosexual, indigent, homeless, worthless, prostituting scum of the streets brings down the anger of God.

NOT. WRONG. The sad fact is that the good, prosperous, working class, healthy, pretty, comfortable, Christians are the ones that bring down the judgement on the rest of them , and themselves TOO.

I can read right between the lines and the words of your post to feel the disgust you feel for Christians.(Here is the reason) Christians have an innate ability to look so good and be so messed up.( Its transparent to people in the world like yourself, RIGHT ??) I'm a born again believer of 35 years. God lets "us" bring judgement on the rest of you and ourselves included.

But,,, you must understand one thing...WE.... are all God has. In Spite of all our blatant SIN God still loves us like a father that will not completely disown a son. Over and over, again and again, he loves us. And He will always get back at those that persecute us when we are in bondage. As wrong as We are, as dirty and as nasty as we can be God disciplines His own and will not tolerate abuse at anothers hand.

I caution here over and over to see that Christian's get sin out of their lives, and not only that but that we do those things that God calls us to do , i/e. sins of omission.

Done correctly living a Christian life is like living in a fish bowl, for the whole world to see. For me the old party animal, the boozer, the profaner, it is a constant struggle still, after all these years but it is a challenge that I rise daily to.I have found that if I am doing those things God has called me to do I have to spend half the time worrying about those things that I should not be doing. In Christ.

I truly do love you and can identify with many of your feelings and rationale; but all that is still not an excuse, you still need a savoir, just as much as I still need one !!

Please consider coming over to the "other side". It is a much harder lifestyle over here, I will not lie to you ...done 'correctly'..but I cannot lie to you , I care more for you right now than I do myself, I do not desire that any should burn in the ' eternal fire'. I actually see nothing wrong with being honest and saying, Lord give me a sip of your wine and let me see if I like it. He will let you try a sip; it is the best you have ever had; would you take a sip ?? In christ.gregor

Well, gregor has invited you, good Father, to join him on the 'other side'. Can you resist the nagging temptation of rational thought and 9 foot go-go girls, oh blessed Father?
