There are some who are gratified by the newfound "softness" of February and are buying the usual soft suspects: UnitedHealth (NYSE:UNH - news), HCA (NYSE:HCA - news) and Pepsi (NYSE:PEP - news). There are others who think that the negativity in tech is overdone -- these people will never give up -- and are back to buying the Applied Materials (NasdaqNM:AMAT - news) and the KLA-Tencors (NasdaqNM:KLAC - news), those two lovebirds. I think that's a mistake as DRAM prices seem to be peaking. (See what Bill Fleckenstein has to say about that.)
