RETRIBUTION! JP Morgan cautious on netoworkers, lowers estimates
JP Morgan says that channel checks indicate that the March qtr appears weak and may not mark the return to sequential growth that most investors were expecting; lowers 2002-03 rev/EPS ests for EXTR, FDRY, and ETS, and sees potentially 10-20% downside in EXTR and FDRY shares. EXTR could face heightened competition in its stackable and mid-range switches and there are questions surrounding the sustainability of its growth in Asia; FDRY's rev growth could be hindered in the near-term by its sales force focus transition; and ETS is seeing weakness in Latin America and Asia.
