Elmer, Why would AMD suddenly spend millions of dollars for help managing yields? They already have "World Class Yields"... don't they.....? To get yields that are out of this world? Joe

BTW, I KNOW that other silicon foundries are having a very difficult time getting LowK to yield as well as an FSG backend. Rumors have already started that TSMC will be switching their LowK to another material. I believe that AMD has very similar yield issues. Make It So, Yousef

You think it is suspicious that AMD want to use a yield management system and infer that it is because yields are a problem. How do you explain Intel's use of a personnel management system? Are Intel's personnel a problem for them?
