I wonder what the balance of jobs is now?
We know that the US has been creating a lot of low skilled surveillance and security jobs. It can be argued that these jobs do not add to the productivity of the US. Balance these with the loss of questionably productive high tech jobs, what is the balance?

Tech is not the economy. It's a sector. The consumer, housing, autos, etc., etc..etc. are doing just fine.

Demographics is economic destiny.
