09:57 ET UBS says ad recession over, recovery underway-- pre-open UBS Warburg in a pre-open note says that the US advertising recession is at its end and the cyclical recovery appears to be underway sooner than anticipated; firm recommends overweighting Radio, Network, and Hispanic media which should accelerate into 2003 and rotating out of "safe harbor" Publishers. Accordingly, firm reiterates Strong Buy ratings on CCU and UVN, upgrades SGA to BUY from Hold, raises estimates and price target (to $19 from $15) at EVC; and downgrades GCI to HOLD from Buy and NYT to BUY from Strong Buy based on valuation.
