11:08 (Dow Jones) 3Com (COMS) reports its 3Q Thursday after the close, and Morgan Stanley says there might be some downside risk to its revenue view of $ 365M and EPS of (16c) due to softer demand, which can be partially offset by improved cost controls. Expects balance sheet to remain strong, and estimates fair value at $5.33. Rated equal-weight, with limited downside risk. COMS off 1.3% at $5.20. (TG)
