But that certainly doesn't 'prove' that no favors were granted... especially early on in the administration, when there was no 'taint' associated with the name Enron.

I think it can be equally well argued the other way that, by getting to nix the FERC head regulator Ken Lay didn't like, and by having their own favored choice appointed, and by having preferred access to White House policy-making meetings behind closed doors, that Enron indeed DID get good value for their campaign contributions... just as they did in Texas.
