Slacker,

<< people were hoping for Bluetooth in the 7210 >>

I sure was.

The lack of same was the first thing I noticed, and it really surprised me.

There was a 2nd thing missing that bugged me, but I can't remember what it was.

Me ... if the 6310i had the 7210 display and MMS, I'd buy one in a heartbeat to replace my 5 year old Bosch 900/1900 MHz WorldPhone for international travel as soon as it hit shelves (and I'd pay a non-contract premium overseas even before FCC certification), but really a tri-mode 9210 is what I really would like, and am holding out for.

I've mentioned my Scottish golf mate here before. He has a 1900 MHz 9100 and a 900/1800 9100 and shares SIM and a full range of accessories.

He is at CeBIT right now, and he'll be swearing up a storm in his unmistakable brogue when he returns. He fully expected that the 9210i would be tri-mode.
