Yes, the "other place to go" is a realistic expectation, IMO. The United States isn't the only place to invest one's money. In my opinion, the growth prospects are less in this country than they are overseas. Any further US growth must be accomplished by new technologies producing new bursts in productivity. Many other economies are still implementing old technologies and have massive amounts of underutilized resources to put to work.
