The use of nuclear weapons brought Imperial Japan to its knees, when they were ready for a mass-suicide that would have murdered 1,000,000 Allied soldiers in the process.

In 1953 the threat to use nuclear weapons by the new Eisenhower administration brought North Korea to an agreement-though incinerating North Korea would have been the wiser option. We had elected a president who wasn't lying trailer trash, and people understood where we were coming from.

In 1973, the threat of nuclear retaliation kept The Soviet Union from intervening for Eqypt in the Yom Kippur War. Eqypt made peace 6 years later-and has never bothered the civilized world again.

The use of small-scale nuclear weapons against terrorists hiding the the mountains of Afghanistan or the jungles of the Phillippines may or may not be the most effective tactical option. It may be the easiest and fastest way to eliminate Saddam, the backward government in Damascus, or Iran, or any of the dozens of other backwater shithole countries that refuse to be part of the future. The options should not be abandoned simply because of fear and ignorance of nuclear physics by a few morons in this country.

Sooner or later the message must be made clear: Abandon Islamic fundamentalism, with its love for murdering innocent citizens in the West-or die. That is simple enough for even the monkeys of the Third World to comprehend. And those who don't will not, at least, re-produce...

How exactly do you so stupidly equate making the statement that there is only one country in the world that has ever used nuclear weapons to hating America. My My that is the absolute dumbest thing I have ever seen posted and quite demeaning as well. You should be ashamed of yourself.
