Jeez, now you tell me! :>) Yep, I violated discipline and jumped too early. I guess I was kind of like a puppy in training. Learning to follow the rules, but every once in a while reverting to old, bad habits when the temptation becomes too great.

But, like an eternally optimistic Lab that just doesn't easily get discouraged, I bought more at 11.10 when the "not yet" signals I had ignored earlier, finally indicated, "buy" (Actually, big price drops on downgrades and external estimate reductions have typically presented pretty good opportunities for me, at least ST, but, as you have said over and over, let what the stock is actually doing--not your hope or wish--guide your actions.

I closed the day just about whole again. I probably shouldn't be holding over the weekend, but, unless there's some nasty news, either stock-specific or macro, SMTF still ought to have a pretty good bounce. JMVHO, of course, and it's a trading style that I wouldn't advocate for anyone else--especially if one has a weak heart. Still, I've had some consistent success with style--as long as I don't forget the difference between wish and reality.
